- Contacts. One directory of people and companies, with partners and referrers, that every module links to instead of keeping its own copy.
- Team and access. Users, roles, permissions and invitations. Your team signs in by email code, magic link or password.
- Dashboard, notifications and search across everything the workspace holds.
- Agents and MCP keys. Connect an AI assistant by OAuth or by key, create service accounts, and review agent actions when you want to.
- Company profile. Your name and logo, which appear on what your clients open.
Who is it for?
Everyone in the workspace. Core is not optional, because tasks, contacts and permissions are what the other modules share.

What does it not do?
- Core does not include time tracking, timesheets or resource planning. Teams that bill by the hour against budgets will find those in tools like Bonsai or Productive.io.
- There are no native mobile apps. Unbound OS runs in the browser on phone and desktop.
Can AI agents work in it?
Yes. An agent connected over MCP reads and acts here with the permissions of the person or service account that connected it. Some of the tools it uses:

Can I use Core on its own?

No. Tasks and projects are inside Core, so every user has them.
Who decides what each person can do?
Administrators. Roles and permissions are set per person, and an AI agent connected by that person can never do more than they can.
