How the bill is built
Per-user, per-module pricing means every person pays for Core, and each extra module is paid only for the people who use it. For an 8 person agency where 4 people use the CRM, 3 use documents and 2 use finance, Unbound OS costs USD 269.85 a month, or USD 242.87 paid yearly.
Core is USD 7 per user per month and includes tasks and projects, contacts, the team, roles and permissions, and MCP access for your AI agents. Every other module has its own price per user, from USD 3 to USD 17, and you choose how many of your people get each one. Social is coming soon and has no price yet.
| Module | Price per user |
|---|---|
| Documents, proposals and library | USD 17 |
| KOL and media | USD 15 |
| Finance | USD 12 |
| CRM and pipeline | USD 10 |
| Campaigns | USD 10 |
| Clients and portal | USD 8 |
| Core | USD 7 |
| Calendar and booking | USD 6 |
| Forms | USD 5 |
| Skills | USD 3 |
A worked example: 8 people, five modules, nobody on everything
The team has 8 people. All 8 need Core, Calendar and Clients (the portal). Four people work leads in the CRM, three write proposals in Documents, and two issue invoices in Finance.
| Line | People | Unit price | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | 8 | USD 7 | USD 56.00 |
| Documents, proposals and library | 3 | USD 17 | USD 51.00 |
| Finance | 2 | USD 12 | USD 24.00 |
| CRM and pipeline | 4 | USD 10 | USD 40.00 |
| Clients and portal | 8 | USD 8 | USD 64.00 |
| Calendar and booking | 8 | USD 6 | USD 48.00 |
| List price | USD 283.00 | ||
| Users discount | - USD 3.15 | ||
| Modules discount | - USD 10.00 | ||
| Total per month, paid monthly | USD 269.85 |
The two discounts are small and mechanical. The users discount is 5 percent on the lines of the sixth to the eighth person, which is USD 3.15. The modules discount is graduated from your most expensive module down: the first two modules pay list, the third and fourth get 5 percent off, the fifth gets 10 percent. That is USD 10.00.
Paid every 6 months, the same plan is USD 256.36 a month. Paid yearly, it is USD 242.87.
Now give all 8 people all five of those modules. The same team pays USD 459.00 a month, or USD 413.10 yearly. The USD 189.15 between USD 459.00 and USD 269.85 is the pricing model doing its job: you are charged for use, not for headcount. Per person, the plan with selected modules comes to USD 33.73 a month, against USD 57.38 when everyone has everything.
What the discounts do and where they stop
- Users: 0 percent for people 1 to 5, 5 percent for 6 to 10, 10 percent for 11 to 25, 15 percent for 26 to 50, 20 percent from the 51st.
- Modules: 0 percent for your first two modules, 5 percent for the third and fourth, 10 percent for the fifth and sixth, 15 percent from the seventh. They are counted from the most expensive module down.
- Cap: the users and modules discounts add up to at most 30 percent per line, and the bill never drops below 70 percent of list.
- Billing cycle: paying every 6 months takes 5 percent off, paying yearly takes 10 percent.
- No monthly minimum. Clients who sign in to the portal and AI agent keys are not billed.
Two consequences follow. A small team gets almost no volume discount, so its savings come from choosing modules person by person. A larger team gets both discounts, and the 30 percent cap is where the stacking stops.
When flat pricing is the better deal
Per seat pricing is not always cheaper, and a buyer should know when it is not. Some tools charge one flat fee for the whole account. If every person on a larger team needs the same capability every day, a flat fee spreads across more people and beats a price you pay once per head.
The Clients and portal module shows it. At list, 8 people on Clients cost USD 64 a month (8 times USD 8). Some portal tools sell one flat plan for the whole team, and at this size that can come out lower. What the difference buys is a portal that sits on the same record as the proposal, the contract and the invoice. If a portal is the only thing you need, a flat plan is the better buy.
The other case is a team where everyone uses everything. There the module choice saves you nothing, only the volume and module discounts do, and the question becomes whether one record per client is worth the per seat price to you.
How to price your own team in five minutes
- 01List every person who touches client work, including part time.
- 02For each module, count the people who need it every week, not the people who might.
- 03Add Core for every person on the list.
- 04Pick a billing cycle: monthly, every 6 months or yearly.
- 05Enter the counts in the pricing calculator, which asks the platform for a live quote.
The package shortcuts use the same prices with no extra discount. The agencies page compares an 8 person agency against the separate tools it replaces, and the Documents, proposals and library page explains the most expensive module on the list. The case for and against one system is in one system or separate tools.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Unbound OS cost for one person?
A solo consultant with the CRM, documents and finance pays USD 45.50 a month, or USD 40.95 paid yearly. Core is USD 7 of that. Prices are in US dollars, per user per month.
Is there a minimum monthly bill?
No monthly minimum. You pay for the people and the modules you have, and the bill never drops below 70 percent of list, whatever the discounts.
Do my clients or my AI agents count as users?
No. Clients who sign in to the portal are not billed, and neither are AI agent keys or service accounts.
What is the cheapest way to start?
Core plus one module. Core and Calendar, for example, is USD 13 per person per month. You add modules for the people who need them as the work asks for it.
When would you tell someone not to choose this?
When you need legally binding e-signature on proposals, time tracking and timesheets, or native mobile apps, because Unbound OS has none of the three. Also when a flat priced tool already covers the one job you need.
What if my team is larger than 100 people?
The calculator goes up to 100 users. Past that, you write to us and the quote comes back with the same breakdown and the same 30 percent cap.
